Lifeline offers the following federal “recurring monthly” credits, totaling $7.25 for voice services or $9.25 for qualifying broadband services, for each customer eligible for Lifeline Assistance.* An additional credit of $3.50 may be available to qualifying phone customers through the state Lifeline program called NTAP (Nebraska Telephone Assistance Program).
Credit amount will not exceed the total Subscriber Line Charge and Residential Local Exchange rate.

We are seeking an individual with a cross of interpersonal skills and sales experience to help round out our customer care team in our Gothenburg market. Individual skill sets should include experience in the field of sales, an ability to implement sales plans/campaigns for targeting prospective customers along with a desire to help create an exciting, rewarding and reliable customer experience. OUTSIDE PLANT INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Essential Job Functions:
Installs, provisions, maintains, tests, and supports for all types of outside plant facilities and equipment as well customer communications networks
Installs, programs, monitors and repairs all customer voice and data communications lines and equipment
Installs, configures, troubleshoots and maintains existing fiber optic and copper infrastructure, and a variety of customer voice and data communications equipment
Installs support structures and cabling power distribution systems. Repairs and provides preventive maintenance on power supply equipment, fuses, rectifiers, standby generators, batteries and fiber or copper distribution panels
Tests, maintains, and evaluates performance of other outside plant and customer equipment
Tests and evaluates performance outside plant and customer equipment by performing diagnostic tests to isolate trouble using electronic test equipment and performs necessary repairs using mechanical and electrical power tools
Provides support in coordinating with other departments on service installations and changes for updating billing, facility, and other company records. Completes installation and repair related forms and reports
Installs customer premise cable, Integrated Access Devices, DSL Modems, ONT’s and other CPE to support communications services
Coordinates with affiliated company personnel and contractors as required for the installation and deployment of voice and data network systems and applications
Education and Experience:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate’s degree in electronics or related field PLUS 2-5 years of work experience in datacom or telecom equipment or service industry. Previous experience with one or more of the following is desirable: Wireless, DOCSIS, VOIP, xDSL, VoDSL, Fiber Optic technology, Adtran access platforms
