Point-to-Point (PTP) Wireless
IFP has successfully deployed numerous Point-to-Point (PTP) wireless links using both Cisco and Motorola PTP products. Both companies offer performance products with links up to 125 miles or throughput up to 300 Mbps. Frequencies include both the unlicensed and licensed spectrums.
Motorola’s Point-to-Point Wireless Ethernet Bridges were designed with performance and reliability in mind. First, they are very fast bridges with models that can deliver up to 300 Mbps aggregate throughput.
Point-to-Multi-Point (PTMP) Wireless
At IFP, we have successfully designed and deployed many PTMP wireless networks. We have come to rely on the exceptional performance, security, ease-of-use and cost effectiveness of the Motorola Canopy platform.
Canopy seamlessly integrates with existing network systems and management tools to make extending existing service simpler and less cost-intensive. And it’s proving its value in more than 100 countries around the world.
The Canopy system reduces the cost and shortens the time WISPs need to deliver broadband wireless Internet service to consumers and businesses without access to ADSL or upgrading from dial-up. The Canopy system is an exceptionally affordable solution for starting a new network or extending an existing one, powerful enough to support small businesses, SOHOs, multitenant buildings and residences. It’s faster to deploy and easier to operate and manage as well, allowing providers to create competitive advantage by delivering reliable, secure, high quality broadband service to customers in a matter of days, not weeks or months.
