We hope everyone is doing okay and staying home, and deeply appreciate those who are taking all possible precautions for our community’s safety.
These “stay home” times have greatly increased the number of internet users in our service area. Our top priority is our dedication to keeping high-quality service flowing to those of you working and studying from home. Our teams are still making precautious house calls to do so, and are disinfecting of all tools + surfaces in their vehicles several times a day, and have healthy safety equipment to wear if they need to request enter a home. We are taking new installation requests as we are able, yet are focusing on serving our much-appreciated current customers in these exceptional times.
As we all are adjusting to these new strains on our normal lives, please keep in mind those keeping their businesses and education underway from home and understand why entertainment video streaming may be different than usual. Netflix itself has intentionally reduced their quality of service to keep up with the demand on their own service, and other services may be doing the same. Our goal is in maintaining quality of access for all customers, and we have been constantly working on system upgrades to try to better handle these unprecedented demands. Please still send us questions and requests via email, and weare getting to everyone post haste.
Our promise is that we are doing our best for you in the safest way possible, day by day. Let’s work together to keep our community moving forward, and coming back stronger as soon as we can.
Yours in service,
Rick, Joe, and the whole Hillcountry Networks team

Expert, Local Support
We live and work here too. Every contact is handled personally by someone on our tight team who is here to help you, knows your neighborhood, and will work until it’s resolved.
Our family has long been rooted here, and we still live and work here. This is where our business and team has grown for decades, and this is where we intend to stay and continue to serve and grow.
Our family has been in Hays County since 1968, and our founder’s mom was Dripping Springs school superintendent in the early 1970’s. In 2001, we decided to bring an internet connection to our own home in Dripping Springs, which quickly kicked-off our efforts to share it our neighbors as an alternative to other bad option at the time, such a dial-up, satellite internet, and other wireless internet providers.
Not long after that, Hillcountry Networks was established in pursuit of our goal in bringing community-oriented internet connectivity to all the Hillcountry’s rural or under-serviced communities and homes.
Our mission is to bring internet connectivity to rural or under-serviced communities and homes. Our intent is to grow reliably, know our customers, and provide the best service possible and still deliver our connections at fair prices.
We have never required our customers to sign long-term contracts with us, and we are proud that our customers have chosen us month after month, year after year.
