Borealis Broadband owns and operates a Fixed Wireless Broadband network in Anchorage and Eagle River. Our network has been delivering professional quality Internet service to our Business and Residential customers since 1997 and we are completely independent of the other major local carriers such as ACS or GCI. Borealis Broadband’s network connects to the Internet backbone via AT&T Alaska for the most consistent, highest quality of service available.
Our customers enjoy Professional Quality, Symmetric bandwidth services with low latency to the Internet as well as through our local infrastructure and pricing is the same no matter where you connect to our infrastructure – no surcharges or wire center fees. We specialize in hard-to-reach places too. This is our entry-level class of service and is tuned to the needs of first-timers or those companies requiring only casual use of the Internet, such as email or surfing. Light usage translates into rock-bottom prices for this service category.
This is our standard business class service. This service class is not metered but still subject to our Fair Usage policy. It delivers professional quality, symmetric bandwidth for your business.
Our highest category of Business Internet service, this service level is designed for companies that must be connected to the Internet at all times with the highest quality of service, reliability and dedicated, non-shared Internet bandwidth.

You can request service from us directly from this page. Please note that we will usually perform a site survey to make sure that we have line-of-sight from one of our towers for your location and we try to have those done within three business days of your request. For more information on how everything works, please see our How We Do It.

Please note that if your location shows within the coverage area, it does not automatically guarantee service availability. We will always have to conduct a “site survey” to verify that there are no physical obstructions between your location and our nearest base site, such as trees, buildings, hills, etc. If the site survey passes, then we can provide you service. We are also constantly expanding our coverage area. If your location shows as outside of our current coverage area, you may give us a call or contact us through the Questions and Concerns form below. We’ll be able to let you know if our coverage has changed or, if sufficient demand is generated in an area, we may add that location to our buildout plan.
